Backstory behind writicle
Introduction
It all began in the apartment of one of our co-founders, where three friends came together with the exciting idea of starting a business. As we sat there brainstorming, one of us, who happened to work as an SEO specialist in an agency at the time, mentioned how much of a headache content writing can be. Finding writers, handling payments and invoices, reviewing and editing content - it was a lot to manage. That's when we decided to try and solve this problem, and thus, our journey began.
Now, it's important to note that two of us had no prior knowledge of SEO, so we had quite a learning curve ahead of us. We purchased a domain, launched a simple website, and partnered with some talented copywriters. We somehow managed to convince one agency to give us a chance. In the early days, orders were submitted through a basic web form, and we juggled everything using Google Sheets:
A few months later, we took a leap and launched our platform on a no-code builder, providing our users with a little more convenience. However, we soon realized that this alone wouldn't suffice. We needed our own team of developers who believed in our idea and wanted to contribute to its success. Luckily, I knew a guy from my gaming days that I knew was a developer. After explaining the idea to him, he was excited to join us and even brought one more developer along with him. And there we had a talented team of developers together with us. And writicle officialy started.
The idea and values behind writicle
Throughout this period, we had numerous conversations with copywriters and SEO agencies, as well as conducted extensive research on similar platforms. It didn't take long for us to comprehend the concept of content mills and decide that it's not the path we want to take. Our vision is to establish a platform that bridges the gap between copywriters and SEO agencies, ensuring mutual benefits. Copywriters will have the opportunity to pursue their passion, while SEO agencies will be able to simplify the intricate process of copywriting.
Copywriters & writicle
At our platform, we create a friendly and supportive environment for our copywriters. We don't burden them with excessive commissions or monthly requirements. They have the freedom to choose the type of work they prefer and when to do it.
However, we do have high expectations from them. Our recruitment process is thorough, and we carefully analyze each application to select the very best candidates. Once they join our platform, they are expected to deliver high-quality work and meet expectations based on factors like quality and timeliness. Unfortunately, if a copywriter fails to maintain the minimum required rating, we have to part ways.
Nevertheless, we always value the voices of our copywriters as our platform is not just for SEO agencies, but also for copywriters themselves, and we have you in mind with every decision we make.
Agencies & writicle
Digital marketing agencies are often at the forefront of content creation and optimization, helping businesses improve their online visibility and reach their target audiences more effectively. Therefore, we believe that they have the biggest pain when it comes to creating content.
That's why we're committed to working closely with SEO agencies in the development of our platform. We believe that by incorporating their insights and expertise, we can create a tool that not only meets their needs but also enhances their ability to deliver high-quality, optimized content for their clients. This collaboration is at the heart of our mission to make the content creation process more efficient and effective, and we're excited about the value it brings to both SEO agencies and the businesses they serve.
